Vegan Chocolate Waffels

It's nice to make a nice extra special breakfast during the weekend.
What better than to start your day with chocolate waffels. This time I choose the VEGAN option.
Hereby we replace the egg 👉🏻 sparkling water
Let me know when these are on the menu with you for breakfast 😀
Ingredients (8 waffels)
🍫 200gr spelled flour
(I sometimes also choose 150gr spelt flour & 50gr protein powder OR 100gr spelt flour & 100gr oat flour)
🍫 100gr cocoa powder
🍫 50ml peanut oil or olive oil
🍫 250ml almond milk (or other vegetable milk)
🍫 125ml sparkling water
🍫 2 tsp baking powder
🍫 pinch of salt
🍫 TOPPINGS: 2 tbsp skyr/ low-fat cottage cheese, blueberries, banana, 1 tsp peanut butter, goji berries - Or whatever you like!

HOW TO?
1. Mix the flour, cocoa powder & baking powder together. Add a pinch of salt.
2. Add the wet ingredients (milk, oil, sparkling water) & make sure everything is mixed well.
3. Warm up your waffle iron and use some peanut oil or olive oil to grease (smear with kitchen paper over the entire irons).
4. Put some of the mixture in the waffle iron and let the waffles brown for 6'.
5. Finish with toppings of your choice.
