On the 16th of December of 2016, four meerkats were brought to Na'an ku sê. They all were very much overweight, because they were fed on a diet of cooked chicken and desert custard. The meerkats were so heavy that they couldn't stand up on their hind legs and were soon called "the custard kids".

The custard kids were put on a diet, and thanks to the good care of Na'an ku sê

She lost her front left arm after it being attacked by another meerkat, whereby it left the bone exposed and it had to be amputated.

Amy is doing very well in Na'an ku sê and happily hopping around with the other meerkats. She is the perfect example that a second chance can truly make a difference.
